Palin: No Second Guessing Israel's "Security Efforts"

It's all about good guys and bad guys to John MacCain's running mate. "We don’t have to second-guess what their efforts would be if they believe … that it is in their country and their allies, including us, all of our best interests to fight against a regime, especially Iran, who would seek to wipe them off the face of the earth," Palin said. It is obvious to me who the good guys are in this one and who the bad guys are. The bad guys are the ones who say Israel is a stinking corpse and should be wiped off the face of the earth. That’s not a good guy who is saying that. Now, one who would seek to protect the good guys in this, the leaders of Israel and her friends, her allies, including the United States, in my world, those are the good guys.”

John McCain's Keating 5 Scandal

John McCain's involvement in the Keating 5, a group of senators largely responsible for the savings and loan crisis of the late 1980s foreshadowed almost exactly like what is happening in our economy right now, only on a smaller scale — an industry making outrageously risky deals, a lack of oversight, and politicians (including McCain) fighting for less regulation over the offending industry, claiming the magical “free market” would take care of any improprieties. And the ending was the same, too — a massive taxpayer bailout.

Fox News Attacks McCain Surrogate

Fox's Megyn Kelly Grills Tucker Bounds On False Tax Claims. "But you guys have suggested he’s going to raise taxes on the middle class and virtually every independent analyst who took a look at that claim said that’s not true. He’ll raise it on people making $200,000 or $250,000, but not the middle class," Kelly says." Let’s stay on point," Kelly continues, "I’m not giving him any credit. I’m saying what the independent analysts say. They say that claim is false. And if that’s false, why would John McCain do that Tucker? Why wouldn’t he just level with the voters and say, “look, he’s going to raise taxes on the wealthy or whatever you consider somebody to be making over $250,000, it’s going to have a trickle down effect. That may not be good for the middle class.” But why say he’s going to raise taxes on the middle class when he’s not?"

Joe Lieberman on his hopes and dreams for Barack Obama, March 2006: "As far as I'm concerned [Barack Obama] is a 'Baruch,' which means a blessing. The gifts that God has given to Barack Obama are as enormous as his future is unlimited.
